              CULTURAL CATEGORIES As we know each culture is unique and special, that is why there are categories to try to explain, understand and differentiate them. China and Colombia are two countries with marked differences, this is because each country is part of a different culture category. Colombia is part of the Multi-active culture. This culture is characterized by being quite flexible, because people act in a more spontaneous and open manner. For Colombians to have an agenda and schedule everything in advance is very boring, punctuality is not our greatest virtue and our concerns are directed to enjoy the things we like and communicate openly with others, ask personal questions and make friends frequently. The Chinese are practically the opposite, their culture is called Reactive culture. For the most part, Chinese people are more reserved, quiet and prefer to listen rather than talk. They also tend to be less spontaneous, to respect each other's persona

    Colombia and China are two countries with some similarities and differences. In relation to the Hofstede model there are marked differences in the dimensions of Uncertainty avoidance, Long term orientation Colombia and Indulgence.In the case of Colombia (80%), the high percentage in uncertainty avoidance refers to the inflexibility and the structuring of the rules that still exist. One of the many similarities between Colombia and Mexico is the use of stereotypes. The establishment of some stereotypes significantly increases gender inequality. In Colombia, women earn less than men, there is a wage gap that shares with the Mexican country and is based on the stereotype that women can not do the same things as men.
